We hope that your stay with us will be an enjoyable one.

This folder should provide you with some useful information, but should you need any assistance please contact the Reception, by dialling ‘0’ who will do their best to help from 7am to 10pm. For out of hours assistance please contact the Duty Manager, contact details overleaf.

General Information

EMERGENCIES: If you are unable to find a member of staff to render assistance in an EMERGENCY, Lift telephone receiver. DIAL 0 or ‘9’ 827142. Please DO NOT use this facility for anything other than a real emergency, ie: Doctor or Ambulance, Flooding from plumbing, etc.

FIRE NOTICE: Please read the Fire Notice on the back of the room door carefully and familiarise yourself with the locality of Emergency Exits and Alarm Call Points.

RECEPTION: Please dial ‘0’ to contact Reception. Open between 7am – 10pm.

DUTY MANAGER: For urgent enquiries outside those times please DIAL 108, ‘0’ OR ‘9’ 827142 For the duty manager as for emergencies above.

DEPARTURES: Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 11.00am on the day of departure. Late departures will be charged the full overnight rate unless by other arrangement with Reception.

KEYS: PLEASE KEEP YOUR PLASTIC KEY CARD WITH 
YOU AT ALL TIMES. It enables you 24 hour access to the Hotel.

INDOOR PUBLIC AREAS: We kindly request that you refrain from lounging in pool/beachwear in these areas, and that footwear is worn at all times.

SWIMMING POOL: OPEN BETWEEN:- 7.30am & 9.30pm every day.

A key is required to enter the pool, which must be signed for, obtainable from Reception.

In the interest of other guests please enjoy the pool quietly.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by parents or a responsible adult at all times.

Please wear footwear to and from the pool.

Please dry yourself before returning to the hotel areas.

TOWELS/BLANKETS: Must not be removed from the hotel bedrooms, additional supplies and pillows available from Reception or Duty Manager.

NEWSPAPERS: Please order before 8pm at Reception. They will be delivered to your room in the morning.

VALUABLES: The management cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to valuables belonging to guests, unless deposited with us for safe keeping, and a receipt retained. Please ask Reception. This service is available 7am to 10pm.

24 HOUR HOTEL ACCESS: The front door is locked from 11pm to 7am. Your room key opens the front door. In the event of a lost key, please use the lobby phone to contact the Duty Manager.

ROOM HEATING: The heating in all bedrooms and bathrooms is individually adjustable at source, any problems please contact Reception. Supplementary heating is available on request. Fans are also available during summer months.

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY: Electrical sockets in your room are on 24 hours.

LAUNDRY SERVICE: Available through Reception 7am – 10pm. Turn around is 1 – 2 working days. Please find a laundry bag and list in the drawer in your room. A coin operated Launderette is situated in Felpham Village, 600 metres from the Hotel.

ILLNESS: Please contact Reception by dialling 0, or alternatively the Duty Manager – Emergencies 24 hour local doctor on call number is ‘9’ 01903 311411 or ‘9’ 08444 773182.

LOBBY COMPUTER: Available for your use 24 hours a day with free high speed wireless internet, located opposite the reception desk. Printing is available via a memory stick which is carried out by reception staff between 7am – 10pm.

Superfast fibre broadband available throughout all guest bedrooms and public areas completely free of charge.
Our wireless is monitored externally 24hrs a day if you have any issues please contact reception or DM on 0 who will log a support call with our engineers.

TELEVISION: Freeview television is available in all rooms. Please contact reception if you require further information.

WATER: The tap water in the hotel is safe to drink. Bottled water is available for sale 24 hours a day from the vending machine in the lounge. A complimentary bottle of sparkling water will be in your room on arrival.

COFFEE & TEA: Facilities are available in your room to make tea or coffee. Hot Chocolate is available upon request. In some rooms tea and coffee facilities can be found in the wardrobes.

CREDIT CARDS: Mastercard, Visa, Electron, Maestro, Amex, V pay.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE: Available from the local Bognor Post Office which is open Mon – Fri 09:30 – 17:30 and Sat 09:30 – 12:30. Please contact reception for directions.

LUGGAGE: We can give 24hr assistance with your luggage. Between the hours of 7am and 10pm, please ask at Reception. Luggage storage is available during your stay and up to 6 hours after check out, please also ask at Reception. Outside these hours please contact the Duty Manager.

PHOTOCOPIES: Available from Reception, (10p per copy)

TOILETRIES: A range of toiletries are provided free of charge in your room which include: Face Cloths, Shower Caps, Shampoo, Shower Gel & Soap. Additional items are available from Reception.

LADIES SANITARY NAPKIN: Available from our 24 hour vending machine located in the lounge area.

NO SMOKING POLICY: We are a 100% non-smoking hotel. If however you decide to smoke we will bill your credit card £150 which is the cost of airing the room and deep cleaning

MAKING CALLS:
EXTERNAL

To make an outside call. Lift receiver. DIAL 9. Wait for dialling tone. Then dial the number you require.
ROOM TO ROOM
To call a Room DIAL a “1” before room number,
E.g. Room 1 = 101, or Room 20 = 120.

RECEPTION: Lift receiver. DIAL ‘0’.

WAKE-UP CALLS: You can set a wake-up call for yourself on your telephone. Lift receiver. DIAL 718. Then enter the time in 4 digit 24hr format and press the # key. For example 7.30am would be 0730. After you have entered the wake-up time the phone will beep. You must set your wake up call daily as required.

When your wake-up call is due, your telephone will ring. When you answer the call you will hear another beep. If you wish to change a wake-up call, lift receiver, DIAL 718 and reset the time in 4 digit 24hr format then press the # key. To cancel the wake up call, lift the receiver and DIAL 718*

RECEIVING
A charge of 25 pence per A4 sheet will be made.
For documents to be sent to the hotel please give the number 01243 863500 (+441243 863500 if the document is being sent from abroad).

SENDING
Only the charge for the call will be made.

All faxing can be done by the Reception Staff.

UNIT CHARGE: Outside calls are charged at the hotel unit rate of 20 PENCE PER UNIT with 20 pence minimum charge. This is the same as a BT public payphone.

There is no charge for internal calls or wake-up calls.

Out of hours service is at the Management’s discretion.

ROOM SERVICE BREAKFAST: Continental Breakfast available:

A service charge of £5.00 per person will be made for Continental Breakfast. Orders can be placed at Reception or by dialling extension ‘0’ during the above advertised times.

‘Breakfast to go’ is available Monday – Friday 6.30 – 7.30am,

LIGHT REFRESHMENTS: Available between 10:00 – 17:00
Please contact reception for freshly made sandwiches or hot soup. Alternatively visit our lounge for a wide selection of sweet and savoury snacks. (Sandwich platter & Soup from £5.95)

PACKED LUNCHES: Are available to take with you, to enjoy whilst out and about. Orders must be placed at reception before 8pm the day before they are required. A full packed lunch is only £5.95pp and will be available to collect from reception at 8:00am

24 HOURS: Beverages and light snacks are available 24 hours a day from the reception lounge.

We pride ourselves on good quality food and excellent service. We can cater for up to 130 people in our selection of function rooms with audio visual equipment available on request.

At the Hotel we regularly have Saturday events such as Party Nights, Casino Evenings, themed evenings such as “Tapas and Flamenco” nights and our regular Jazz & Piano Sunday Lunches.

Please just ask for an Events leaflet to take away with you.

Why not take the opportunity to enjoy our famous Sunday Lunches. We can arrange for a 5pm check out and for you to enjoy a fabulous 2 course lunch for only £20.00 per person.
